LAVIC Hosts Gathering of Peacemakers

Following in the footsteps of Giffords' powerful Community Violence Intervention Conference, the Los Angeles Violence Intervention Coalition hosted a gathering with peacemakers from across the country. The event served as an important networking opportunity for community violence intervention workers to share effective strategies to reduce violence, while discussing the needs and vision for the expanding field. As community violence intervention grows and more significant investments are made, we are eager to see increased opportunities for collaboration and advocacy led by peacemakers.
